  • @i_2_i I did, majorly! I have plenty of suggestions, but almost no complaints. The very short notice for being a vol. is really the only one — 38 weeks 6 days ago

WSAD: Penance for the sin of nonadherence.

eronarn — Sat, 05/30/2009 - 19:01

Slightly under 2500 words. DEAL WITH IT. I'll probably extend this later, but it doesn't have a title yet.

WSAD 7: Ardent

eronarn — Sat, 05/16/2009 - 23:03

The death of a starship was a thing far more dignified than the passing of a man. This was so to a degree commensurate with the greater scale of its life. Men fought men and famine and disease and time. They grew infirm of mind and body and too prideful to admit that until the abject terror of their closing moments if they even saw their doom coming.

WSAD 6: Pollen, Pt. 2

eronarn — Sat, 05/16/2009 - 22:33

Didn't do anything yesterday because I wasn't at home. I'm making up for lost time.

WSAD 4: A Special TV Salesman

eronarn — Wed, 05/13/2009 - 21:54

"It seems to me, sir, that you haven't got much of a chance to sell wares that don't work whether they're on sale or not."

"Really? Isn't that just the mindset of you groundhuggers, an implicit value judgement on your part?"

He winked mischievously. The other fellow raised an eyebrow, paused a moment to think, then spoke with a slightly raised voice.

Write Something Every Day 3: Pollen, Pt. 1

eronarn — Tue, 05/12/2009 - 22:52

On a hot planet dawned a hot day that made the sapients dwelling there thank their lucky stars that they were sealed away from it all in great tombs of concrete and glass. Inside, there were monitors and filters and ionizers that kept the ambient temperature tuned to Earth-standard and stifled any unintentional life whether it was micro- or macroscopic.

Write Something Every Day: Triticale, Part 1

eronarn — Sun, 05/10/2009 - 20:24

I'm going to start doing this "writing" thing on a regular basis, though my interpretation of "Day" may be a little bit loose at times. I'm not going to toss on a length requirement, but I hope I'll get at least a few paragraphs each time. It's my hope that by the time Worldcon rolls around I'll have gotten myself used to putting my ideas into a format others can actually access.
