This past Monday and Tuesday I was at the X Prize Foundation's i2i conference at the United Nations. I was one of the volunteers, along with my ebuddy @SAZorak and a handful of other folks that I hadn't previously known.

My life has had the ground pulled out from under it and I couldn't be happier that it's happened, or with my decision to cause that upheaval by my own hands and my own force of will. I imagine that many of you will understand where I am coming from: like many hardcore Internet users I spend more time wrapped in its ethereal embrace than I do in the concrete clutches of the real world.

I'll be taking part in a debate at Central Connecticut State University tomorrow as part of that institution's philosophy club. I wouldn't ever want anyone to visit Connecticut for anything short of life-saving surgery, so I'll spare you all the trouble by streaming it live. I'll also post recordings some time after the event.

I've been bitten by Project Upstream before, and I enjoy the novelty of the service. Meeting random people is super swell, or at least is possibly so.
