So I've been a bit out of my regular rhythms and that's impacted writing every day. In fact I've failed to do it for more than a week! This is no good. While I'll have work to deal with now, I've instituted a new policy whereby a block of time will be set aside for this writing practice each day. It'll be at the same time, even.

But, I still need to catch up. To do that I'm going to write 250 words for each day I missed: 9 days in total (today included), so that's 2250 words. It might not be posted today, because that's a lot of words! If I post it tomorrow it'll even round to a nice even 2500 words. I think I like that plan.
